I am your host Kimme Carlos, author, public speaker, advocate and proud daughter of Dr. John W. Carlos, 1968 Olympian, humanitarian and social justice icon. My mission and calling are to inspire and empower people to be their greatest selves despite adversity, vulnerability and marginalization. Each week I discuss relevant topics in solo episodes where I share my thoughts, and in guest episodes where we amplify the voices of those who bring knowledge, expertise and lived experience on topics and discuss how they work to empower others.
