He also reported the disturbing story of Jodi Barrus, the Iowa high school teacher wrongfully accused and acquitted of having sex with one of her students. \xa0Prior to joining\xa0Inside Edition, Trent spent five years as an on-air correspondent for King World's American Journal. He also served more than 10 years as a local reporter in San Francisco.
