A Scry for Help by Aaron Eischeid

Synopsis: Jamie is dead. His boyfriend, Nate, is attempting to cope with the loss alone in the artist loft the two once shared in Chicago’s West Loop. When Nate’s mourning takes on the form of hallucinatory visions that uncontrollably start to bleed across the thresholds of reality, Nate turns to an ancient art—the act of mirror gazing, or scrying—to desperately summon the only man he ever loved back from The Other Side not knowing that what may actually come out will haunt him toward his own demise.

In this queer tale of ghosts, grief and (in)human conditions, prepare to descend into the supernatural unknown where one’s sanity must battle the spirits of both good and evil in order to find the strength to overcome the harrowing madness of Death itself.

About the author: The sweetest gay gorehound in the Midwest, Aaron Eischeidis a native Iowan residing in Chicago with his charmer of a gecko, Gavin.
