Jen Laird joins us today and we\'re digging into why having a doula is beneficial after infertility or loss.

When I had my children (many years ago \\u2013 my eldest is now 18) doulas and midwives were not even on my radar. Today doulas are being brought in as early as 8-10 weeks to help alleviate any fears/worries during the early weeks of pregnancy. Today\'s guest Jen Laird is a birth and postpartum doula. I wanted to explore how a doula could help \\u2013 from the medical benefits such as reduced rate of C-section, length of labor and need for epidural. Plus how the healing power of touch can help when we are dealing with worry or anxiety. Also the role of the doula during the postpartum period too!
