Karvika Thapa founded Kimbu Tech with a mission to increase women participation in the tech-world. After working for more than a decade in a foreign country, she decided to come back and start the company, to create jobs in the local market and promote Nepal’s products and services in the international market. The company already has a portfolio of local and international clients (US and Israel), providing software development, maintenance and support through IT solutions and outsourcing services.

Thapa was recently featured in The NepaliTimes and The Kathmandu Post column, as one of the women "changing the face of tech in Nepal".
