Apologies for the lateness of the Geektown Radio podcast this week, but we are finally live and packed full of tv news, film news and UK tv premiere date information. We also have an exclusive interview with Myron Kerstein, editor of the smash-hit film \'Crazy Rich Asians\'.

Myron Kerstein is an editor for tv and film who has worked on projects such as \\u2018Sex and the City\\u2019, \\u2018Girls\\u2019, \\u2018House of Lies\\u2019, \\u2018The Dukes of Hazzard\\u2019 and \\u2018Fame\\u2019. He\\u2019s also been Zach Braff\\u2019s go-to editor for his movies \\u2018Garden State\\u2019, \\u2018Wish I Was Here\\u2019 and \\u2018Going in Style\\u2019.

His latest project has been the smash hit movie \\u2018Crazy Rich Asians\\u2019 with director Jon M. Chu, which follows native New Yorker Rachel Chu (Constance Wu) as she accompanies her longtime boyfriend, Nick Young (Henry Golding), to his best friend\\u2019s wedding in Singapore. Nick has neglected to mention that he not only comes from one of the country\\u2019s wealthiest families but also one of its most sought-after bachelors, and Nick\\u2019s mother (Michelle Yeoh) is not impressed with his choice of partner. The cast also includes Jimmy O. Yang (\\u2018Silicon Valley\\u2019), comedian Ronny Chieng (\\u2018The Daily Show\\u2019), Harry Shum Jr. (\\u2018Glee\\u2019), Lisa Lu (\\u20182012\\u2019) and \\u2018Humans\\u2019 star, Gemma Chan.

In the interview, we discuss working on the film, and with the director Jon M. Chu. We also talk about the pain of figuring out what to cut from the movie, working an editor for film vs. working on tv, and his career in general.
