Holy Week and the Palm Sunday ride, we encounter one of the most loved events of Christ’s life! Palm Sunday is a moment of wondrous celebration ahead the quiet contemplation of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. But we not only come across a loved story, we also encounter and amazing story. Let’s remember, Jesus, who is riding a humble donkey, is the LORD who is spoken of in Psalm 121. On Palm Sunday we see the LORD of the Universe who nonetheless chooses to take up the humble ride into the Holy City of Jerusalem...and ultimately, a humble ride up to the cross to die for the sins of the world. The Psalmist asks “Where does my help come from?” and on this Palm Sunday we know the answer is and will remain, our help comes from “Our Humble Lord”!
