Act Justly (Meyer)

Our world is a place where injustice abounds. So many in our world suffer and they do so needlessly. Sad but true, so many in our world suffer and do so needlessly, simply because people ignore their suffering, don’t care about others and/or won’t help even if they can. However, we serve a living God who does care about us and those we encounter...and a living God who furthermore wants something done for the widows and orphans and hurting and disenfranchised. As Christians we are then called to hear God’s voice and open our eyes to the injustice and suffering around us and live out our faith by making a difference in the lives of others. Because we have faith in the living loving Lord who is concerned about the widow and the orphan, as well as the hurting and the disenfranchised, we will, by the power of the Holy Spirit, quite naturally desire along with Him to “Act Justly” in this world.
