Cooler temperatures on the Island and plenty of cool things to do including ARToberfest.  Plenty of live music around the Island this weekend, and this week we get an EARLY start on Thursday night with Billy "Blues" Hill of G-Town Surf hosting a Charity Trivia Night at Saengerfest Park. 

For theatre fans, the Galveston College Theatre department will return to the stage this fall for a three-day run of \\u201cMore Fun than Bowling,\\u201d a funny and eccentrically philosophical comedy.  Show dates and times are Thursday, Oct. 17, at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 18, at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 19, at 7:30 p.m.
