Today, for the first show of the new year, it\'s my honor to present Becki Hawkins, R.N., a kind, compassionate oncology nurse, who also is a hospice chaplain. Becki, author of\\xa0Transitions: A Nurse\'s Education about Life and Death, will entertain you with poignant, humorous, and heartbreaking stories about patients she helped during her 30-year career as a nurse. I\'ve been wanting to interview Becki for more than a year. I first had the pleasure of "meeting" her over the phone after her book came out a year ago. Intrigued, I immediately booked Becki on this Gab with the Gurus Radio Show but then had to cancel our interview, because I was going through my own painful family emergency--my mom was terminally ill, and I wanted to be there for her. At last, I\'m interviewing Becki, who has been a very supportive, wonderful friend during my trying time. You\'re sure to be entertained and inspired during our interview.
