Dr. Semir Beyaz is a cancer researcher and principle investigator at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, and he wants to know if we really are what we eat.\\xa0One of the main questions being addressed in his lab is how dietary fat and obesity can influence diseases such as cancer.\\xa0Epidemiological data suggests that obesity is strongly associated with diseases such as cancer and type 2 diabetes, however the causal mechanisms remain unclear.\\xa0
