Sally Benson is the Co-Director of Precourt Institute for Energy, Director of Global Climate and Energy Project, Professor of Energy Resources Engineering at Stanford. There have recently been a lot of changes in how we consume our energy - technologies such as solar and wind are well known and are a great alternative to fossil fuels. However, new sources of energy are appearing on the horizon. In this episode I was amazed about the research Stanford engineers are conducting about the next wave of disruptive energy technology.

In the show we discuss:

  • What our future electricity grids may consist of
  • The technology with the biggest upside that no one yet knows about
  • Potential for carbon capture and storage

And a hell of a lot more! If you want to find out more, I highly recommend you visit:
