What is anarchy? This episode is all about anarchy as defined by a regular, freedom loving guy. The definition of anarchy isn't that hard to grasp. Oligarchy is a form of government where many rule, such as that of the US ("olig" meaning relatively few, which in the US is many). Monarchy is a form of government where one person rules, such as a king or queen ("mon" as in mono, or one). Therefore, Anarchy is the absence of a ruler, or rule by none. An anarchist rules himself. However, anarchy does not mean there aren't any rules. As an anarchist, I understand that people are free to comply with those rules with which they may or may not agree. Likewise, as long as I am not forcing my beliefs or views onto others, I am free to not comply with those rules with which I do not agree. Seems simple to me.
\nAn important fact to note - anarchy is anarchy. It isn't socialism. It isn't communism. It's the absence of rulers, which is exactly the opposite of socialist, communist, and democratic rule.
