On February 24th, over two months before the Pacific Northwest would be rocked by the devastating eruption of Mount Saint Helens, human skeletal remains would be found in the outer reaches of Northwest Clark County, Washington. Jack Bannister and his son were panning for gold along the Fly Creek in Chelatchie Prairie near Amboy, WA when they would make this gruesome discovery. Almost forty years have gone by and no one knows who she is.
