On a cool November evening, a truck driver is traveling west on Interstate 10 near Lake City, Florida when he sees a toddler lying lifelessly in the middle of the highway. Hurriedly, he takes the child off the road and calls 911; but by the time she arrived at the hospital, it was too late. Over twenty four hours later, her death becomes one event in a series of events that lead investigators having to deal with a death investigation, and a missing persons investigation as her mother, Detra Renvictoria McGuire, is no where to be found.
