And there are some outstanding genre films depicting a law enforcement officer as hero\\u2014Jaws and Slither spring to mind. They are also villains as often as bumbling side characters (we\\u2019re looking at you Inside and Last House on the Left).\\n\\nToday we want to celebrate the films that dive into the police work, that focus squarely on The Law and its investigators.
