\\nSo Cathy and I have three grown boys. Though they look somewhat similar, honestly, they couldn\\u2019t be more different. In this posse, you have a high extrovert and a high introvert. You have a risk taker and one who is more risk-averse. You have one who prefers lots of structure and predictability while another who thrives in spontaneity and fluidity. There is an intuitive feeler and a methodical thinker. As they mature, Cathy and I are continually blown away by how uniquely each of them is wired up!
\\nOne of the great parenting challenges throughout the years has been to help them avoid toxic comparisons between themselves and others. Something that so often would lead them away from their unique superpowers and into inauthentic and less effective ways of being.
\\nDoes this sound familiar? When was the last time you or someone you love became convinced some part of your/their unique wiring wasn\'t good enough in some way? So an attempt was made to change - to be more like someone else?  Sadly, this rarely goes well.
\\nThis Sunday we\\u2019re exploring the rewards of discovering and honouring our unique and natural wiring and talents.
\\nCarve out some time for yourself and get into the gym this Sunday morning at 10:30 either in person or online.
