\\nFor years we\\u2019ve said that Friends Church is a community for people who don\\u2019t feel they fit in traditional churches – but what does that actually mean?\\xa0 What causes a person to feel out of place in some religious environments anyway\\u2026to feel like an outsider?\\xa0\\xa0Some will point to things like the style of music, perhaps the formal dress code, or the formal feel of traditional church buildings. Sure, all of these can contribute, but we think there are reasons that run much deeper.
\\nThis Sunday we begin a new series called \\u201cWatering our Worlds\\u201d. It\\u2019s a series designed to pull back the curtains of the inner workings of Friends Church and to illuminate the vision and values that so deeply influence and shape everything we do. If you\\u2019ve ever wondered why Friends Church seems so different from other expressions of religion you\\u2019ve experienced, this series should help explain.\\xa0 More importantly, if you\\u2019ve ever struggled to fit traditional church but craved meaningful spirituality, this weekend\\u2019s message will likely shed some light on why and how Friends Church hopefully can help.
