-I got up at 6 a.m. to wait in line for the chance to showcase the Frequency Horizon radio show alongside other artisans and entrepreneurs at the Tofino Market. I've always wanted to participate in this event, and this week I dive in to give listeners a feel for what the experience is like. I even made a small profit, kinda. -I was lucky enough to be introduced to a 13-year-old with a full-on excitement for new electronic music. We dropped Jason Martin's debut mixtape, a collection of tracks made via samples and cell phone beat apps for a school project, live on 90.1 FM Tuff City Radio. You'll have to stick around to hear how he describes the creation process... [Jason Martin, wearing a Frequency Horizon shirt, on left with brother in photo] Music in this episode from The Flashbulb @bennjordan "Undiscovered Colours" (Go buy Ben Jordan's stuff now cuz it's rad), A Tribe Called Red @a-tribe-called-red, Miike Snow "Faker" @miikesnow, Jokers of the Scene jokers-of-the-scene "Baggy Bottom Boys"
