Message Title: A WILD JOURNEY

This life is one long WILD JOURNEY, and embracing it is the only way we discover a WILD GOD.

As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth.\xa0His disciples asked him, \u201cRabbi,\xa0who sinned,\xa0this man\xa0or his parents,\xa0that he was born blind?\u201d John 9:1-39 (NIV)

\u201cNeither this man nor his parents sinned,\u201d\xa0said Jesus,\xa0\u201cbut this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.\xa0John 9:1-39 (NIV)

1. There is PURPOSE in the PAIN.

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,\xa0whenever you face trials of many kinds,\xa0because you know that the testing of your faith\xa0produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature\xa0and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:2-4 (NIV)

What if your misfortune is a divine set up for the miracle that God wants to perform?

As long as it is day,\xa0we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work.\xa0While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.\u201d John 9:1-39 (NIV)

1. The MIRACLE you NEED won\u2019t always arrive the way you WANT.

Some of the Pharisees said, \u201cThis man is not from God, for he does not keep the Sabbath.\u201d John 9:1-39 (NIV)

But others asked, \u201cHow can a sinner perform such signs?\u201d\xa0So they were divided. John 9:1-39 (NIV)

Then they turned again to the blind man, \u201cWhat have you to say about him? It was your eyes he opened.\u201d The man replied, \u201cHe is a prophet.\u201d John 9:1-39 (NIV)

1. Not everyone will understand YOUR journey.

\u2026A second time they summoned the man who had been blind. \u201cGive glory to God by telling the truth,\u201d\xa0they said. \u201cWe know this man is a sinner.\u201d John 9:1-39 (NIV)

He replied, \u201cWhether he is a sinner or not, I don\u2019t know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!\u201d John 9:1-39 (NIV)

1. Whisper your OPINIONS, shout your STORY!

Then they asked him, \u201cWhat did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?\u201d He answered, \u201cI have told you already\xa0and you did not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? Do you want to become his disciples too?\u201d John 9:1-39 (NIV)

Then they hurled insults at him and said, \u201cYou are this fellow\u2019s disciple! We are disciples of Moses!\xa0We know that God spoke to Moses, but as for this fellow, we don\u2019t even know where he comes from.\u201d John 9:1-39 (NIV)

The man answered, \u201cNow that is remarkable! You don\u2019t know where he comes from, yet he opened my eyes.\xa0We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will.\xa0Nobody has ever heard of opening the eyes of a man born blind.\xa0If this man were not from God,\xa0he could do nothing.\u201d John 9:1-39 (NIV)

To this they replied, \u201cYou were steeped in sin at birth;\xa0how dare you lecture us!\u201d And they threw him out. John 9:1-39 (NIV)

Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and when he found him, he said,\xa0\u201cDo you believe\xa0in the Son of Man?\u201d \u201cWho is he, sir?\u201d the man asked. \u201cTell me so that I may believe in him.\u201d Jesus said,\xa0\u201cYou have now seen him; in fact, he is the one speaking with you.\u201d John 9:1-39 (NIV)

Then the man said, \u201cLord, I believe,\u201d and he worshiped him. John 9:1-39 (NIV)

Jesus said,\xa0\u201cFor judgment\xa0I have come into this world,\xa0so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.\u201d John 9:1-39 (NIV)

1. Jesus is not only our guide and our source\u2026 He\u2019s our destination.
