War\nfor our Worship

What\nis the one thing that God desires most from you and you have the ability to\nfreely give it or withhold it from Him?

(Isaiah\n14:13-14)\xa0 \u2018I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my\nthrone above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of\nassembly\u2026I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will\nmake myself like the Most High.\u2019

\n\n\n\n\n\n

(Matthew\n4:8-9) \u201c\u2026the devil took (Jesus) to a very high mountain and showed\nhim all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. \u2018All this I will\ngive you,\u2019 he said, \u2018if you will bow down and worship me.\u2019\u201d

Why\nis worship so important to God?

(Exodus 20:3-5) \u201c\u2018You\nshall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself\nidols\u2026You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the\nLORD your God, am a jealous God.\u2019\u201d

Who\nis God and what has He done?

\n\n\n\n\n\n

(Hebrews\n12:28-29) \u201c\u2026since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot\nbe shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably\nwith reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire.\u201d

How\ndo I do it?

\nRespond naturally to His supernatural goodness

\n\n\n\n(Matthew\n18:20) \u201cFor where two or three come together in my name, there am I with\nthem."\u201d\n\n

In\nview of who God is and what He has done, I bring an offering.\xa0 And I am\nthe offering.

\n\n\n\n\n\n(Romans\n12: 1 ) \u201cTherefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to\noffer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God-this is\nyour spiritual act of worship.\u201d
