Jesus\u2019 goal was not peace on earth\u2026 it was peace in you.

1. \xa0It is conditional

God\u2019s peace is not conditional based on your circumstance, but based on your surrender

The mind governed by the flesh is death\u2026 Romans 8:6 (NIV)

You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you,\xa0all whose thoughts are fixed on you! Isaiah 26:3 (NLT)

2. \xa0It doesn\u2019t make sense

\u2026The Lord is near.\xa0Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:5-7(NIV)

INTERNAL peace is possible even in EXTERNAL CHAOS.

3. \xa0It is closer than you think

Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me\u2014put it into practice.\xa0And the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:9 (NIV)

God doesn\u2019t just offer peace\u2026 it\u2019s part of who He is.

Therefore the Lord himself will give you\xa0a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son,\xa0and\xa0will call him Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14 (NIV)

Immanuel = God With Us

The\xa0Lord\xa0is close\xa0to the brokenhearted\xa0and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 (NIV)
