In honor of two big Hollywood blockbusters coming out in the next month or so -- Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 and Wonder Woman -- we decided to introduce each other to some, well, smaller scale films that may or may not be sci-fi/fantasy and feature strong, female characters. Instead of Gamora, we've got Stella Star in Roger Corman's STARCRASH, and instead of Princess Diana of Themiscyra, we're watching Brigitte Nielsen in the non-Conan Conan movie RED SONJA. We also spend a few minutes debriefing each other on the MST3K revival, which inspired the selection of Starcrash in the first place.
