This morning we're going to open catching up with a couple of representatives from the Alzheimer's Association, Connecticut Chapter on this first weekend of Alzheimer's and Brain Awareness Month to talk about the support network and services this organization provides for not only those grappling with the disease, but their loved ones as well.

Then we'll welcome a spokesperson from AARP into the studio to discuss a package of legislation winding its way through the statehouse in Hartford in these waning days of the 2019 legislative session - that are of particular concern to AARP members and many others here in Connecticut.

And we'll close touching base with Big Brothers / Big Sisters of Southwestern Connecticut, reminding you about the many ways you can support this critical mentoring agency - and how easy it is to make a life-changing difference in the life of a local youth by becoming a Big Brother or Big Sister.
