The film is about a cursed Bridesmaid that has to track down and marry her soulmate to escape the wrath of a malevolent demon called The Manglik. The film uses Indian (South Asian) folklore to examine marital social stigmas used against women that are still in practice in modern India and America.\\xa0

After the break we\\u2019re joined by Angelita Mendoza to discuss her film THE BLUE DRUM

The film focuses on the day of Leticia\\u2019s father\\u2019s funeral. Secrets long buried begin to surface and Leticia\\u2019s world is turned upside down. Nothing is as she believes.
