Today I’m joined by Gigi Gaston to discuss her film 9 BULLETS.

9 BULLETS stars Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones) as a former burlesque dancer turned author who suddenly becomes the guardian of her 11-year-old neighbor after he witnesses his parents’ murder.

Along with Headey, the film stars Lala Anthony (Power) and Sam Worthington (Avatar) in supporting roles. You can read more about the film and their other upcoming projects below.

Lena is EP’ing and starring in a new series called Beacon 23 which shoots in Toronto in April; she is a voice in the animated superhero adventure family series New-Gen with Henry Rollins; and she will co-star in Crooks with Juno Temple.

La La Anthony has Power Book II: Ghost; Kenya Barris’ You People with Jonah Hill, Julia Luis Dreyfus and Eddie Murphy; and The Perfect find with Gabrielle Union, Gina Torres and Aisha Hinds coming up.

Sam Worthington is hard at work on Avatar 4&5, and also has The Georgetown Project with Russell Crowe completed and SeaCole with Gugu Mbatha Raw coming up, among many other projects.

A former burlesque dancer turned author (Lena Headey) discovers a second chance at life and redemption when she risks everything to rescue her young neighbor after he witnesses his parents murder. Now on the run from the local crime boss (Sam Worthington), who happens to be her longtime ex, she makes a desperate attempt to get the boy to safety.
