Many emotional abuse victims have been accused of having a victim mentality\\u2014as if the abuse isn\\u2019t real. Some victims don\\u2019t like to be labeled a \\u201cvictim.\\u201d It sounds weak and powerless. Recently, one of my listeners asked this question: \\u201cHow do we accept the reality of abuse without living as a victim?\\u201d
