Synopsis: With Barry powerless, the team rigs a hologram of the Flash to stop crime around the city so that no one knows the truth. Wells again proposes recreating the particle accelerator explosion. Barry goes to his father, Henry, for advice, who returns with him back to Central City. Henry argues with Wells over his procedure for returning Barry’s powers, concerned for his son’s safety. Zoom and Caitlin arrive back on Earth-1, with Zoom declaring the city under his control. The Earth-2 version of Dante Ramon, “Rupture”, arrives on Earth-1 looking to kill Cisco for killing his Earth-2 brother. Zoom sends Rupture after the police to send the city a message. Barry and the police stop Rupture, but Zoom arrives and kills the officers himself, and Rupture for failing. He then publicly announces the Flash’s disappearance. Realizing that he cannot stop Zoom without his powers, Barry agrees to Wells’ plan. During the process, Barry is seemingly vaporized, while Jesse and Wally are caught in the blast.
