To the average airline passenger, it seems as though aviation technology has been slow to evolve. In fact, there hasn’t been a radical change in commercial aviation design since the first flight of the de Havilland Comet in 1949. However, aviation manufacturing leaders like Boeing have been making significant strides in the market, recently announcing patented technology aimed at increasing fuel efficiency, reducing cabin noise, and maximizing passenger comfort.  In this podcast, Finnegan partner Lionel Lavenue explains the importance of Boeing’s new patents, what they mean for the future of aviation, and how our flight experience may be drastically different in the not-so-distant future.
