Film Fallout Podcast #93 - The Film Debates of 2017

Published: Jan. 17, 2018, 5:09 p.m.

Believe it or not, 2017 is over. We took a long break after our last podcast, but now Christopher Cross and Dylan Schwan are back to wrap up 2017 in the only way they know how: fighting. So I hope you caught up with the films you had meant to see, but if not, we're actually pretty light on the spoilers here. If anything, hopefully these debates give you more reason to see some of the films we loved from 2017. Our categories this year were very similar to previous years, with a few fun additions that we took very seriously. The categories are below: Most Fun Movie Best Use of John Denver Best Soundtrack or Score Best Cinematography Best Use of Food and/or Drink Best Screenplay Best Caleb Landry Jones Best Actor Best Actress Best Director Best Moment or Scene Then we delve into our personal top 10 lists after mentioning some honorable mentions from the year that didn't make our lists but we were happy with how they turned out. That's 2017 all wrapped up though, so it's time for us to say farewell to a great year in movies and say hello to another year of quality films. We're back next week with everyone's favorite marmalade-loving bear, Paddington 2. Film Fallout is a weekly podcast about film and television, hosted on BagoGames.com. Every week, Christopher Cross and Dylan Schwan discuss news happening in the industry, blu-ray releases coming out this week, what they’ve been watching, and then a review of one movie. You can listen to it on SoundCloud, iTunes, or on BagoGames. Also follow us on Instagram for some behind-the-scenes magic. We are both on Twitter, if you’d like to follow us there. Chris is @HammerkopCross, Dylan is @DreaminDylanS, and you can follow the podcast @Filmfalloutcast. And finally, there is a Facebook page for the podcast if you’d like to ‘like’ us on that.
