Your weekly reminder that 2016 is almost done. Christopher Cross and Dylan Schwan didn't get to see much this week, but still had plenty to talk about. Especially with their review of Krisha, which has been popping up all over the place on top ten lists everywhere. We talk about some of those lists in the news, but we also spend quite a bit of time discussing the disgust of drinking wine with cork in it, the insanity of family gatherings, and the balance between subtle and detailed storytelling. Dylan also saw Robert Zemeckis's new film, Allied, which stars Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard. Does Brad Pitt play a believable Canadian in this film? Listen to find out. There's also a couple blu-ray releases, including Jason Bourne (which we did a podcast on) and The Secret Life of Pets. Dylan has a lot of news to go through, and Chris even managed to sneak in a couple film-related video game news stories. Next week, we will be back with a review of Jackie, starring Natalie Portman.
