Film Fallout Podcast #101 - A Hurricane Heist in Time

Published: March 14, 2018, 3:22 p.m.

Christopher Cross and Dylan Schwan attempt to save Chris Pine from the Tesseract with the help of Oprah in this week’s episode where we review Ava DuVernay’s A Wrinkle in Time. We discuss whether a movie can be forgiven if you can feel the heart of the film, or if some issues are too large to be ignored. Also, how tall is Oprah? We investigate. This week didn’t really have much news due to SXSW, so we talked about a bunch of movies we saw over the week. Dylan watched Red Sparrow, Thoroughbreds, and 1983’s Star 80. Meanwhile, Chris saw Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and The Hurricane Heist. Plus, get all your Oscar-nominated/winning films this week on Blu-ray, as well as Martin Scorsese’s The Age of Innocence on Criterion. Next week, we will return with a review of Tomb Raider. You can find Film Fallout every week on iTunes, Soundcloud, Stitcher, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, as well as anything else that pulls an RSS Feed.
