New acquisition overhaul from Defense Department requires new lessons for workforce

DoD\\u2019s latest overhaul of what\\u2019s commonly known as the \\u201c5000 series\\u201d breaks apart what\\u2019s been the key guidebook for Defense acquisition and divides the system into \\u201cpathways.\\u201d It\\u2019s called the Adaptive Acquisition Framework, and the Defense Acquisition University is leading the effort to teach the workforce how to use it.
