In this special Memorial Day weekend edition of the podcast, we wanted to share a presentation Mark recorded in 2009 by Dick Ghaster, who served as a waist gunner on 35 missions over Europe during WW2. He graciously took the time to tell his life story to a group of Civil Air Patrol cadets one evening, recounting being their age when he heard about the bombing of Pearl Harbor, only to find himself 2 years later flying over Germany.
