'Space Jam' Animator Tony Cervone Talks New and Original Films

Space Jam Animator Tony Cervone Talks About the Original Film and the Sequel Space Jam: A New Legacy in theaters today.

Tony Cervone is an animator, producer and director. He has worked on Duck Dodgers, Scoob!, The Flintstones & WWE: Stone Age Smackdown. He's even a member of the KISS Army and proved his dedication to the cause in Scooby-Doo and KISS: Rock and Roll Mystery.

Cervone has also worked on the original animated feature Space Jam starring our favorite Looney Tunes characters and the G.O.A.T., the Chicago Bulls' own and the reason there is a sneaker head culture, Michael Jordan. The original Space Jam celebrated its 25th Anniversary this year with a 4K, Blu-Ray Combo Pack restoration release on July 6, 2021.

Today, Cervone celebrates another milestone in the release of Space Jam: A New Legacy, with this generation's NBA Superstar and current Los Angeles Laker, Labron James.

Cervone takes us on an aural journey through the animation process for 2-D a quarter of a century ago and the the blend between 2-D and 3-D animation for Space Jam's sequel within the new century.
