Erich von Daniken Discusses Being the 'Godfather of Ancient Astronaut Theorists' at AlienCon 2019
Erich von Daniken is recognized by most as the, "Godfather of Ancient Astronaut Theorists." His influential book, Chariots of the Gods, released 50 years ago was the spark that lit the fuse for post-modern interest in extraterrestrials. In that time, von Daniken has written more than 20 books, has been apart of several archaeological discoveries and continues to influence the next generation of Ancient Astronaut Theorists, including Giorgio Tsoukalos.
If not for von Daniken, there would be no series Ancient Aliens on History Channel, nor an AlienCon for that matter. We spoke with von Daniken at AlienCon 2019 in Los Angeles, CA and he shared his views on life, the greater universe and retaining his faith in God while still searching for the unknown.
