Disney Fine Arts Artist, New Jersey Native, Clinton Hobart Brings the Holiday Cheer to Christmas Con, Pasadena, CA, 2022.

Clinton Hobart went from painting fruit, to snack foods landing his “A Portrait of Doritos” in the private collection of actor Michael Rooker from 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' and 'The Walking Dead'.

In addition to painting snack foods and Disney Fine Arts, Hobart also paints still-life, portraits, cosplay paintings, and ocean waves. He has been featured on NBC News, FOX News, The CW, ABC News, and American Artist magazine. Appearing on CBS News with Scott Pelle after a Chinese company sold forged copies of his paintings online.

According to Hobart his website, "...the Huffington Post mentioned the story in an article stating that Clinton was part of a 'sting operation.'”

Hobart sold out of almost every item during Christmas Con, leading to commissions and prints being mailed out to fans who purchased his work in attendance.

We caught up with Hobart at Christmas Con 2022 in Pasadena, CA where he was a featured guest and did painting demonstrations for fans in attendance. We joked about life, art, anyone being good enough to play for the New York Mets, when discussing athletic prowess, knowing from an early age that he wasn't cut out for any other career than in the arts and how that snack chip ended up coming to life.

Hobart also spoke with us about his favorite Christmas movie among other things during our chat on the convention room floor.
