Dean 'Mojo Rawley' Muhtadi Talks About His Hush-Hush Role in 'Snake Eyes'

Former WWE Superstar and seven time 24/7 Champion, Dean 'Mojo Rawley' Muhtadi talks about his Hush-Hush role in Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins in theaters on Friday, July 23, 2021.

The Stay Hyped and king of Zubaz outfits himself Dean 'Mojo Rawley' Muhtadi is only the third WWE Superstar to be apart of the G.I. Joe franchise. First was of course, the most fitting of them all, Sgt. Slaughter as himself followed by Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson as Roadblock in G.I. Joe: Retaliation.

Now in Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins, Muhtadi continues the tradition professional wrestlers and football players joining the world of G.I. Joe. Don't forget, in the 1980s, the Chicago Bears William 'The Refrigerator' Perry was immortalized as a mail in action figure.

Official Synopsis:

Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins stars Henry Golding as Snake Eyes, a tenacious loner who is welcomed into an ancient Japanese clan called the Arashikage after saving the life of their heir apparent. Upon arrival in Japan, the Arashikage teach Snake Eyes the ways of the ninja warrior while also providing something he’s been longing for: a home. But, when secrets from his past are revealed, Snake Eyes’ honor and allegiance will be tested – even if that means losing the trust of those closest to him. Based on the iconic G.I. Joe character, Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins also stars Andrew Koji as Storm Shadow, Úrsula Corberó as Baroness, Samara Weaving as Scarlett, Haruka Abe as Akiko, Takehiro Hira as Kenta and Iko Uwais as Hard Master.

We crack jokes with Muhtadi on how he did the most Arab thing possible in receiving his masters degree to appease his parents before following his dreams, what it is like to be apart of the G.I. Joe legacy and how much he would charger former WWE Superstar and current Impact Wrestling contender Matt Cardona for a signed Mojo G.I. Joe action figure.
