Written by Cecilia Choi and Michael R. Snell with inspiration from their respective careers in medicine \\u2013 Kombucha Cure is set in the fictional town of Verdigris Lake where doctors and their cancer patients\\u2019 have taken on the healthcare insurance industry in the spirit of Robin Hood.

Two-time Emmy\\xae winner Tamara Braun (Days of Our Lives, General Hospital), Denise Boutte (The Young & The Restless, Bronx SIU), Jasper Cole (The Fall, Macgruber), multiple Emmy nominee\\xae Jennifer Bassey (All My Children), Robert Craighead (Ruthless), Angie Kim (Extracurricular), and Jermel Nakia (This is Us) star in season one of the comedy series.

Kombucha Cure season one is Executive Produced by Choi, Snell, Jonathan Chia (In the Dark), and Tarun Raj (Happy Prank Day) with Yorke G. Fryer (Extinct) and Jasper Cole (Miracle Before Christmas, Bronx SIU, Dunkleman) as co-Executive Producers.

Season two is set to begin production this spring in Los Angeles with Choi, Snell, and Cole as showrunners.
