Juicy Bits Reflections:
Everyone has a story
Follow your own dreams of success
Be you

[02:15] Everyone has a story
I asked Brad how people who don’t have a story like his can drive and inspire themselves, and Brad replied, “Everyone has a story.”

He’s right. It might not be as dramatic as someone shooting through the windscreen of your car, but your story is your story. You just need to think about what your key inflection points are.

Think about the key moments of your life
If this happened emotionally, you’ll remember those key points. They could be conversations, situations. That’s your story. Think about how your doing relates to that story.

[05:43] Follow your own dreams of success
What is success?
Success for me is having a more flexible life -- being able to attend my kids’ events, being around more, coaching my son’s football team, spending time with my twin daughters.

What does success look like to you?
Block out the sounds of other people. Figure out what success means to you.

Most successful entrepreneurs -- I mean success in the sense that they’re doing what they want to do -- have followed with laser focus what they want to do.

[07:14] Be you
How do you be you?
Often, we can get buffeted around by what we think expectations of others might be, whether that’s parents, coworkers, people on social media we don’t even know.

A good question for all of us to ask is, “Who am I?”

Live in alignment with your own personal values
If you get to the end of day where you’re unhappy, it might just be that you’re not living in alignment with your own personal values

Build your business and life around the things that are important to you
If you get an email that says you’re going to die in the next 24 hours, you’re not going to send the next email to your client. You’re not going to bother with that invoice. You will focus on what’s important. How do we build our business and our lives around those things which are important?
