A bonsai artist can transform a beautiful tree into one that is exquisite. Jesus tells us that he is the true vine, and his Father is the Gardener who tends the vine so it yields more fruit. Like a bonsai artist, the Father prunes and shapes each person connected to Christ so that Jesus becomes the central feature.
