A movie with a title that would make you think the movie can't possibly be good starts with a pretty great introduction. Almost IMMEDIATELY though this The Bye Bye Man finds a way to fall off the cliff so fast. This movie finds ways to go out of its way to explain its own plot because it must think the audience who would go to see a movie called The Bye Bye Man are not intelligent. Overall they may have been onto something there, we feel collectively more stupid by having seen this movie. Regardless though we have a job to do. Is it essential? Find out today!\\n
