Have you ever considered yourself to be the Apostle Paul fighting that thorn in your side.  Although we are never clear as to what thorn Paul was dealing with, it is safe to say I\'m sure that we have all fought with enemies of our flesh.  When Paul said he asked God three times to remove it and three times God said my grace is sufficient, so is His grace sufficient for us.  So whether it be addiction, fornication, homosexuality and even violence.  We all have been faced with strongholds and I can assure you that God knows exactly what you are dealing with and His grace covers all of us.
