Dale Gieringer, Director, California NORML talks about some of the many reasons there has not been more research done on the uses for cannabis to treat a wide variety of diseases and chronic conditions.  We met at the recent 2nd Annual Cannabis and Health Symposium a gathering of researchers and other stakeholders presenting on basic and clinical science discovery and therapeutics.  With many years in the fight to better understand the active elements of cannabis, Dale also reminds us of the value of anecdotal evidence and the history of work in this field.
