Sextus Pompeius was the youngest son of Pompey the Great, and was responsible for leading the last great resistance of the Roman republic against Octavian and Mark Antony. While he made the most of his late father\\u2019s reputation, Sextus was a leader in his own right, and to many a forgotten aspect of this period of Roman history.
