Laura Bliss: Cities are participating in data sharing from electric scooter rentals

Dozens of cities have signed up to take part in sharing data gathered from people who rent electric scooters in their cities. Los Angeles established the Open Mobility Foundation after issuing permits for the scooters there back in 2018.
\\nMany other cities, including San Francisco and San Jose, jumped on board.
