A judge has rejected a request by Uber and Postmates to temporarily block California's new law requiring companies to turn gig workers into employees. KCBS Radio contributor and Bloomberg News reporter Joel Rosenblatt says in order to win this preliminary injunction the companies had to prove they had a good chance at winning the lawsuit down the road, however the judge indicated that's not likely.
