Did you know that the A-lady knows an awful lot about local businesses? It's true. She's also very obliging about calling them and even interacting with those dreaded dialpad-driven menus. That reminds me of one of Pam Ayres' poems. It's very short - it goes something like; "If you'd like to meet the person responsible for this automated menu system and shoot him with a gun, press 1." Said with a wry smile, of course.
