You can now get your Echo to explain all of her various colour notifications. Here\u2019s what they mean:
Yellow - This means that she has a new notification, or a reminder you haven\u2019t responded to. Say, "What are my notifications?" or "What are my messages?"
Blue - A circling blue light means she\u2019s listening. If you\u2019re speaking and you don\u2019t see the light, speak louder or check your power source.
Red - Solid red means the mic is muted and she cannot hear you. To turn the microphone back on, press the on/off mic button on your Echo.
Green - This colour shows when you\u2019re receiving a call, or a Drop In on Echo Show.
Purple - This means the device is on the Do Not Disturb setting. You\u2019ll also see a crescent moon in the upper left corner of an Echo Show. You can enable or disabled this by voice or set up a schedule via the app. Note that, if enabled by voice and not turned off again, it is automatically disabled at midnight.
