Join Caroline Wilson and Corrie Perkin for Episode 56 of ‘Don’t Shoot The Messenger’.  After walking the red carpet at the Brownlow Medal Awards last night, Caro reports back on her highlights and Caro and Corrie reveal their top three best dressed list.  The biggest question of the week is ‘What happened to Richmond?” AND of course Melbourne after both teams bowed out of the race to the grand final in spectacular fashion in the preliminary finals. We discuss Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley’s remarkable season and the rise of the West Coast Eagles. Plus Caro and Corrie tip the Grand Final.  It’s one of the most high profile jobs in the country and this week Michelle Guthrie was unceremoniously sacked as Managing Director of the ABC - we ask why and what next for the ABC? Caro’s “Crush of the Week” for The Interchange Bench is Jack Higgins who’s hilarious speech while accepting the Goal of the Year award certainly made quite an impression.  Our "Crush of the Week" is thanks to The Interchange Bench - recruit the best staff with The Interchange Bench. Call 1800 i BENCH to get in touch with them today or check out their website HERE.  In “BSF” Corrie’s been engrossed in Liane Moriarty’s brand new novel ‘Nine Perfect Strangers’ - Liane will also be Corrie’s first guest on the inaugural episode of our new spin-off podcast ‘The Book Pod’, subscribe wherever you listen to podcasts.  Caro has been off to the movies  to see ‘Ladies In Black’ a fun film set in a fictional department store plus Caro shares a sure-fire salad dressing recipe perfect for getting excited about greens again this Spring (see recipe below). This week Corrie’s grumpy about the baffling world of passwords and in “Six Quick Questions” we head back to the US Supreme Court,  ponder the lack of broadcaster interest in Princess Eugenie’s upcoming wedding and discover an inspiring Instagram account (Father’s of Daughters) that’s gone rather viral.  For those itching to get out into the garden this Spring - Caro shares a couple of green thumb “GLT’s”.    'Don't Shoot The Messenger' is produced, engineered and edited by Jane Nield for Crocmedia.  Email the show via feedback@dontshootpod.com.au Tarragon Salad Dressing 1/4 cup sugar 1/2 bunch of chopped chives 1 clove of crushed garlic 430mls virgin olive oil 1 tablespoons dijon mustard 160mls taragon vinegar 1 tablespoon lemon juice  1/4 bunch chopped parsley 12 chopped paragon leaves. Stir / mix well. Makes enough dressing for 2 large salads. Caro recommends leaving out the fresh herbs as the plain dressing will keep well in the fridge for ages, then add the fresh herbs just before serving.  Is delicious with just butter lettuce and lots of avocado.  Learn more about your ad choices.
